What exactly is species evenness?

Biology

Answer:

Species evenness refers to how close in numbers each species in an environment is.

Explanation: For example, let's say there are 15 elephants, 60 zebras and 5 lions on our first sample. The sample from the second states 35 elephants, 25 zebras and 20 lions. The total of both sample 1 and sample 2 become 80. Sample 2 is relatively more evenness than sample 1 . This is because the total number of animals in the sample is quite evenly distributed between the 2 samples. This environment  is not very even though. Species richness is a measure of the number of different kinds of organisms present in a particular area. Evenness compares the similarity of the population size of each of the species present as I mentioned above.

mart [117]

Answer:

Global warming intensifies water cycle

Explanation:

Global warming can dramatically intensify the water cycle because this phenomenon is associated with an increase in temperature, thereby a higher amount of water is evaporated into the air and a higher amount of ice is melted at the poles. Warmer atmospheric air will have a higher amount of water vapor, increasing the frequency and intensity of rainstorms. In consequence, global warming can significantly increase the probability of flooding in coastal communities.

This stadium can hold 100,000, or 1x10, people. The
Mekhanik [1.2K]

Answer:

1 x 10^13 stadiums will be needed in this scenario

Explanation:

We are told that

1 stadium holds = 1 × 10^5 people and

Number of iron atoms = 1 × 10^18 atoms

If the stadium carries an equivalent number of atoms as that of people.

We can infer that 1 stadium will carry 1 × 10^5 atoms.

The calculation to determine the number of stadiums would then be 1 × 10^18 divided by 10^5 atoms/stadium which was gotten by dividing the total number of atoms by the number of atoms per stadium.

Number of stadiums = Total number of atoms ÷ Number of atoms per stadium

= 1 × 10^18 atoms ÷ 1 × 10^5 atoms/stadium

= 1 × 10^13 Stadiums

This means that 1 × 10^18 atoms would occupy 1 × 10^13 stadiums
