Well, sort of, but not really. There is a bit of ambiguity in what you mean by “<em>cell division</em>”.

In eukaryotes (which I will assume you are studying cell division for), there are two main types of cell division: mitotic and meiotic.

For mitotic cell division, DNA replication occurs during the cell cycle, but in the S phase of interphase … not during mitosis (nuclear division) or cytokinesis (division of the cytoplasm).

However, DNA replication is required in order for mitotic cell division to occur; and DNA replication doesn’t begin until the cell has become ‘committed’ to entering mitosis.

For meiosis, DNA replication also occurs in the S phase of interphase, but only before the first round of cell division (associated with Meiosis I); before the second round of cell division (associated with Meiosis II), DNA replication does not occur.

Answer:

D. There isn't enough information to determine which is the coding strand

Explanation:

In this protein, it would be necessary to observe a start codon (ATG) and one-stop codon (either TAA, TAG, or TGA) which should be separated by six (6) intern codons. It is not observable this nucleotide sequence in any of both DNA strands.

Damian grew a plant from a leaf cutting. How did the plant reproduce?
ycow [4]
A plant grew from a leaf cutting will reproduce asexually.A plant cutting  refers to a piece of plant that is used to vegetatively propagate a plant. A plant cutting can be a piece of stem, root or leave. The plant cutting is usually placed inside a suitable medium, where the cutting will grow to produce a new plant under suitable conditions. Plants that are grown from plant cutting are considered to be reproduce asexually, because vegetative propagation is a form of asexual reproduction.

Taya2010 [7]

The nursing action appropriate for this kind of case is encouraging increased fluid intake<span>

<span>The rationale behind this is that around the first day of postpartum, slight dehydration usually causes a slightly elevated temperature; the nurse should also encourage increased fluid intake to counter dehydration. Aspirin is contraindicated in postpartum clients because its anticoagulant effects may induce the risk of hemorrhage. Reassessment in vital signs every 4 hours is sufficient to evaluate the effectiveness of hydration measures. If the patient’s oral temperature exceeds 38 degrees Celsius or 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit, the nurse should request an antibiotic order since this may suggest an infection.</span></span>
