<span>Tubman had to stay awake all night so that the baby wouldn't cry and wake the mother. If Tubman fell asleep, the mother would be whipped her. so basically badly like any other slave. </span>

The environment should allow for a free press to operate without political intervention or impediment. Citizens should have the right to freedom of expression and association. Citizens must also be well-informed and engaged on all major topics.

    To put it another way, an activist citizenry should be nurtured and supported. Transparency, open participation, peace, stability, and inclusive development are the main characteristics that drive a democratic discourse, and these approaches have a net effect of promoting them.
