1. Me and my friends and family didn't settle in one spot. Unlike most other native tribes, we continued to hunt and gather out

food and moved around all over southern Florida. We liked to stay close to lakes and pick fruits and berries. We also liked to fish with nets. We even hunted Manatees! Can you believe that? Although we didn't care much for settling in one spot, one of our favorite places to be was Lake Okeechobee. Probably because there was always so much good hunting and fishing there, so we never went hungry. Thanks to the shells we left laying around as well as some of the things we made like canoes, bowls, and masks, scientists have been able to learn a lot about our way of life. NO LINKS PLEASE<br> Why was Suburbia important in the 1950s?
aleksklad [387]

Answer:

During the 1950s and early 1960s many Americans retreated to the suburbs to enjoy the new consumer economy and search for some normalcy and security after the instability of depression and war. But many could not. It was both the limits and opportunities of housing that shaped the contours of postwar American society.
