There are countless types of cells in the body, but here are the main ones.
stem cells- cells that develop into specific organs and tissues.
Blood cells-
•red- transport oxygen to cells
•white- immune system
•platelets- help stop bleeding
Fat cells- stores excess energy.
Skin cells- connective tissue to protect inside of body.
Nerve cells- for the nervous system to transmit signals to the body.
Sex cells/gametes- to reproduce.
Male-sperm
Female- ovum
