A: Judaism had an important influence on both Christianity and Islam.

Explanation:

Judaism as one of the oldest religions had an important part in shaping other, younger religions, mainly Christianity and Islam. Judaism is an ethnic religion of Jewish people, and encompasses a wide variety of texts, practices, rituals, theological positions and forms of organization.

Christianity accepts Judaism through the Old Testament, the first part of the Holy Bible. But Christianity is more focused on the second part, as mediated through Jesus Christ, and recorded in the New Testament. There are many other similarities other than sacred texts between Judaism and Christianity.

However, these similarities are harder to spot between Judaism and Islam, but they nevertheless exist. Judaism's influence can be seen through practices, outlook, structure, but culture and philosophy as well.
