Answer:

C. The Necessary and Proper Clause.

Explanation:

The Necessary and Proper Clause, known also like the elastic clause, is the Clause 18 of Article 1 of the US Constitution, this clause provides the Congress the power that it needs to fulfill its legal powers. Since the 11th Amendment can be abrogated by the Congress, the Congress does it under the necessary and proper clause. To do so, Congress has to express its intent unequivocally and it must have acted pursuant to a valid exercise of power.

Describe what slavery was like in the north
Katyanochek1 [597]

Answer:

In New England, it was common for enslaved people to learn specialized skills and crafts due to the area's more varied economy. Ministers, doctors, and merchants also used enslaved labor to work alongside them and run their households. As in the South, enslaved men were frequently forced into heavy or farm labor.

If you had been making the journey on the Mayflower what would you have done to prepare for life in america
emmainna [20.7K]
I would bring hygienic stuff because most people died on ships due to diseases and there have been outbreaks of viruses (especially during the winter) in settlements. I would also bring seeds/ food with me because then once I arrive I could begin harvesting before the winter. Speaking of winter, I would also bring anything that would keep me warm such as animal fur, blankets, etc.
