<em>I'm going to assume that the coupon is $3 off of each pair of jeans</em>

A)

x -> Price of each pair of jeans

4x + 8 - 3 * 4 = 92

B)

4x + 8 - 3 * 4 = 92

4x + 8 - 12 = 92

4x - 4 = 92

4x = 92 + 4

4x = 96

x = 96/4 = 24$

The price of each pair of jeans is $24
