Nutrients can increase sport/excising by staying healthy. having a good diet can provide the energy to do a normal sport or any physical activities.  water, carbohydrate, and protein are important nutrients needed.

water keeps the body hydrated.
carbohydrate provides energy during exercise.
protein is important for muscle growth and repairing tissues, it also provides energy but only after carbohydrate has been used up.
