Reye's Syndrome has several symptoms that can come on rapidly and progressively. The main symptoms are;
vomiting
seizures
loss of consciousness
changes in a person's personality
confusion
Aspirin has been directly linked to both small children and teenagers getting Reye's syndrome. It is a fast moving encephalopathy that needs treated immediately. Always consult with a doctor before giving Aspirin to a child or teen who has the flu.
