I'm sorry
To my brother
To my sister
To my family

I'm sorry
I've tried to be intelligent, ideal, intricate
My memory is too much of a goldfish
My vocabulary like that of a toddler

I'm sorry
I've tried to be as beautiful as a rose
To have the innocence of a dove
To be the dog by your side

I'm sorry
But it's too true to all of you
That I'm not good enough
That I'm just a bag blowing in an empty ghost town

I'm sorry
But I want to be as fierce as the blowing wind
I want to stand as tall and proud as my pride will allow
I want to be able to speak louder and prouder than a lions roar

I'm sorry
That my life isn't as you imagined it to be
Dresses, tea parties, perfect grades
Instead, skating, wrestling, fighting, me

I'm sorry
For not being the perfect daughter
That you imagined
I'm sorry for being me

Ahhh hope this is ok for you,, i tried to incorporate imagery through what the parents wanted of the child

This time, this poem is based off the song Stigma by V of BTS.

Hope this helps!
