Slope is rise over run. It is a ratio of the amount of the y-axis over the amount of x-axis. So, now assign the first group of numbers, (-2,-3) as 1; then the second group, (1,1) as 2. Like this:
first \: group(x _{1} ,y _{1}) \\ second \: group(x_{2},y_{2})
Notice the subscripted numbers designate the group number. Next, plug in the numbers and do the math.
\frac{1 - ( - 3)}{1 - ( - 2)}  =  \frac{1 + 3}{1 + 2}  =  \frac{4}{3}
So, the slope, m, is equal to four thirds.
