A possible reason for the decline could be a decrease in the available water. The basic nutrient of plants is water, as the substance that they use to live are made of substance in water plus solar energy. If one of these two factors experiments a decline, this could be a reason for the decline of plant as well. Obviously the decline of plants then will have a multitudine of other effects on the ecosystem.

Answer:

Acclimatization

Explanation:

Acclimatization is the change in the body of an organism in response to changes in the environment to maintain equilibrium (homeostasis). In the case of the salmon, when the environment changes from fresh to salt water and back, the chemical homeostasis would be altered if the fish didn't adjust. The adjustments in the fish gills are the response of the fish to acclimatize to the changes in the chemical environment in order to maintain homeostasis.

Why food must be digested before entering your cells?
S_A_V [24]

Answer:

Digestion is important for breaking down food into nutrients, which the body uses for energy, growth, and cell repair. Food and drink must be changed into smaller molecules of nutrients before the blood absorbs them and carries them to cells throughout the body.     Protein must be broken down into amino acids.     Starches break down into simple sugars.     Fats break down into into fatty acids and glycerol.
