Hurricane Katrina would not have caused early onset of spring. The damaging winds/rains of the hurricane would have caused a change in marine ecosystems and habitats since the heavy winds/rain and storm surge eroded beaches, took down trees, and flooded out areas. As a result, animal migration also changed since some habitats that animals would normally migrate to were destroyed and no longer existed. The early onset of spring (aka. seasonal change) is not driven by individual weather systems.

For the answer to the question above, Blurred Vision

A severe headache, visual disturbances such as blurred vision and some epigastric pain that is associated with the development of severe pre-eclampsia or eclampsia. These danger signs and symptoms must be reported immediately as soon as possible. A severe headache and visual disturbances are related to severe vasoconstriction and in a severe increase in blood pressure. Epigastric pain is related to hepatic dysfunction. Ankle edema is a common thing during the third trimester of pregnancy. However, the facial edema is associated with increased fluid retention and the progression from mild to severe pre-eclampsia. Increased energy levels aren't associated with a progression of the client's pre-eclampsia or the development of the complications. In fact, some women are reporting an "energy spurt" before the onset of labor. A mild back-ache is just a common discomfort of pregnancy, unrelated to a progression of the client's pre-eclampsia. It also may be associated with bed rest when the mattress is not firm. Some multi-parous women have reported a mild backache as a sign of impending labor.

S_A_V [24]

Answer:

A. decrease by half.

B. stay the same.

C. double.

Explanation:

Host-pathogen models resembels the host-parasite models and predator-prey which is used to evaluate the evolutionary strategies of pathogens.

The host-vector-pathogen system can be demonstarted as a change in the number of 4 types of people: healthy hosts, uninfected vectors, infected hosts, and infected vectors.

The threshold density should decrease by half, stay the same, or double, according to the standard host-pathogen model, if the combined death and recovery rate from a disease doubles, and the ability of the disease to spread from infected to uninfected persons.

Hence, the correct options are A. decrease by half, B. stay the same, and C. double.

Suppose you want to investigate what kind of material is best for making a warm winter coat. How could you use a freezer, a ther
Naily [24]

Answer:

By designing an experiment where the temperature on the thermometer is measured after a chosen (same) time interval when the thermometer is wrapped with the different materials and placed in the freezer

Explanation:

Experimental design

Materials given: freezer, a thermometer, samples of materials

setup:

1. The freezer is put on and made to remain at a particular temperature, mimicking the winter season.

2. Next, different materials for the coat design with equal dimensions are used to rap the thermometer whose initial temperature has been recorded in the same pattern and the thermometer is placed in the freezer and left for a certain time, which is made constant for the different materials.

3. after the time, the final temperature on the thermometer is recorded.

Result interpretation

The temperature is expected to drop after the time in the freezer, but the material with the smaller change (drop) in temperature indicates that it traps more heat hence is the best material for designing a winter coat

independent variables: type of material used

dependent variables: temperature on the thermometer

control variables: time, dimensions of materials, temperature of freezer, pattern of wrapping.
