I would say the way to figure out this answer is to find out what two numbers make a sum, difference, product, dividend of 6 and and from the choices I exampled I think you would have to use inverse of operation but it depends if you are equations

I'm not sure either but I tried, Have a great day:), ~Nana!~

What is the sequence of transformations that maps △ABC to △A′B′C′ ? Select from the drop-down menus to correctly identify each s
torisob [31]

Answer:

Any 1 of the following transformations will work. There are others that are also possible.

  • translation up 4 units, followed by rotation CCW by 90°.
  • rotation CCW by 90°, followed by translation left 4 units.
  • rotation CCW 90° about the center (-2, -2).

Step-by-step explanation:

The order of vertices ABC is clockwise, as is the order of vertices A'B'C'. Thus, if reflection is involved, there are two (or some other even number of) reflections.

The orientation of line CA is to the east. The orientation of line C'A' is to the north, so the figure has been rotated 90° CCW. In general, such rotation can be accomplished by a single transformation about a suitably chosen center. Here, we're told there is a sequence of transformations involved, so a single rotation is probably not of interest.

If we rotate the figure 90° CCW, we find it ends up 4 units east of the final position. So, one possible transformation is 90° CCW + translation left 4 units.

If we rotate the final figure 90° CW, we find it ends up 4 units north of the starting position. So, another possible transformation is translation up 4 units + rotation 90° CCW.

Of course, rotation 90° CCW in either case is the same as rotation 270° CW.

_____

We have described transformations that will work. What we don't know is what is in your drop-down menu lists. There are many other transformations that will also work, so guessing the one you have available is difficult.

PLZ HELP TROLL ANSWERS GET REPORTED MAKE IT UNDERSTANDABLE Match each expression to its value.
lbvjy [14]

Answer:

  1. 7-5 => 2
  2. -7+5 => -2
  3. -7-5 => -12
  4. 7-(-5) => 12

Step-by-step explanation:

Lets solve the expressions one by one

1. 7-5

we can see that it is simple subtraction. A smaller number is being subtracted from a large number.

So the answer is 2

2. -7+5

There are two numbers with different signs. When there is a number with plus and a number with minus both quantities are subtracted but the larger quantity determines the sign of the answer.

In this case, 7 is larger and has negative sign, the answer will be -2

3. -7-5

When there are two numbers with minus sign they are added but the answer has the minus sign with it.

So the answer will be: -12

4. 7-(-5)

When minus is multiplied with minus it converts to positive

So

= 7-(-5) = 7+5 = 12

Hence,

  1. 7-5 => 2
  2. -7+5 => -2
  3. -7-5 => -12
  4. 7-(-5) => 12

Graham drove 42 1/3 miles in 1 1/3 hours. A. How many miles did he drive in one hour?
Nonamiya [84]

change to  improper fractions

42 1/3

(3* 42 +1) /3 = 127/3

1 1/3 = (3*1 +1) /3 = 4/3

127/3 divided by 4/3

copy dot flip

127/3 * 3/4

127/4

31 3/4 miles per hour

He drove 31 3/4 miles in one hour

31 3/4 miles  1 mile

------------     = ------------

1 hours             x hour

using cross products

31 3/4 * x =1*1

x = 1/  127/4 (copy dot flip)

x = 1 * 4/127

x = 4/127

it takes 4/127 of 1 hour (approx .03 hours)
