Answer:

1. Curse you for your hateful scolding!

2. Good intentions always yield good results.

3. A weak point in his character.

Explanation:

William Shakespeare's Romeo and Ju li et deals with the illegal love of the two protagonists amidst their feuding families. Though at first unaware of their families' hatred for each other, they still went forward with their love and even got married, but tragedy led them to their own separate deaths.

1. A pox is a common way of cursing at someone who did things wrong. Chiding is an act of reprimanding or scolding someone for the mistake committed. So, the sentence may well mean "curse you for your hateful scolding".

2. Considering the play from which the given themes and sentences are based on, one theme that the play does not deal in is that "good intentions always yield good results". In fact, that is quite the opposite. Even with good intentions, Romeo still suffers.

3. The downfall of the hero in a tragic story is his own character's weak point, which in this case, is his unfailing love for Ju li et.

What major topic do both Edgar Allan Poe’s “The Philosophy of Composition” and Stephen King’s On Writing address?
Sophie [7]
Well On Writing is about Stephen Kings Life as a writer and serves as a book that guides people who would like to indulge in writing themselves. Edgar Allan Poe's book The Philosophy of Composition is about how good writers write and kind of gives a brief synopsis about how a good writer should write. So therefore I believe they both address, Writers craft, or how a write should write!

How does this excerpt best develop the theme "Good will
adell [148]

Answer:

As we see in the end, Mr. Hyde was found dead in Dr. Jekyll's room. As Mr. Hyde had committed some serious evil acts in the past, he could not be forgiven for his acts. In the end, the chemicals which Dr. Jekyll was taking for converting into Mr. Hyde became the reason for his death. Dr. Jekyll could not take up the guilt of the evil acts he had committed as Mr. Hyde.

The death of Mr. Hyde from his own hands proved that God will always prevail over evil and there is always an end to evil.
