Answer: change the word cognition to the word emotion.

The components of emotion are physiological arousal, psychological appraisal, and subjective experience.

The arousal feeling is primarily controlled by the reticular activating system (RAS) in the brain which is responsible for the physiological arousal feeling.

Psychological appraisal  is a method to analyse a person's potential for future performance.

Subjective experience is the quality of conscious experience of the events happening around us.
