If you look at the attached graphic, you will see that the altitude (or height) of an equilateral triangle is:
Height = side length * sq root (3) / 2
Area = side^2 * sq root (3) / 4

Given f(x) = X^2 – 5x + 6 state axis of symmtry
Setler79 [48]
Solve this by factorising like this:
F(x)= x^2-5x+6
= (x-2)(x-5)
X= 2 or x= 5
So the axis of symmetry is 3.5 ( got this by dividing 2 and 5 in the middle on the number line or you can call it cetacean plane

3 in to 2 ft in simplest form
BigorU [14]
The goal in simplifying numbers is to reduce it that can be best seen in the eye. Also in converting units, you must take note of the units given in the problem. If you don’t, you would get a lot of errors. Length is the measure of distance and can be best represented by either in SI units or English units. Example of an SI unit is meter, m, and English unit is feet, ft. You are given 3 inches and 2 feet. You can convert any of the numbers into a number that would feel comfortable to you. I will take 3 inches. Note that there are 12 inches in 1 feet. So divide 3 by 12 and you will get ¼ feet. Then divide 2 feet to ¼ feet and you will get 8.

Tizah wants to put a fence around her garden. she has 22 yards of fence material. Does she gave enough to go all the way around
klasskru [66]
If I understand the drawing correctly than yes, because
6 9/12 + 6 9/12 = 12 and 18/12 = 13 and 6/12 or 13 and 1/2.
13 1/2 + 4 8/12 = 13 6/12 + 4 8/12 = 17 and 14/12 = 18 2/12 or 18 and 1/6.
