Well if you look up the definition of Dialogue it is: "<span>conversation between two or more people as a feature of a book, play, or movie," In a short answer, it adds to the story like with the titanic we already know that the ship sinks but when you add the dialogue you learn more about the details and the characters relationships in the story. It makes your story more meaningful and more personal.</span>
