<span>Ratification was stalled by Colombia and President Roosevelt was angry. The US Nashville was sent around the Colombian state of Panama. Its troops bribed the Colombian army and the revolution worked. The Hay Bunau-Varilla Treaty was agreed to which gave the US a 10 mile wide zone and control of the canal "in perpetuity."

How did the status of women change during the roman empire?
yanalaym [24]
Things changed somewhat after Rome became an empire. Women gained the right to conduct business. They could own land, free slaves and even get a paid job. While they were still considered under the guardianship of a father or husband, they had many more rights than previously. But they still could not vote or hold office.

Kitty [74]
It means that when you are loved by someone wholly, and unconditionally, it adds to your mental and physical strengths in your daily life.
This is the hopeful philosophy because when we hope for love and receive it we are gratified in a way that means that we are important, respected, and valued. This will make people reflect on their life and hope for the future, and find love.
