Total war is based on the idea of defeating the enemy by attacking everything including the soldiers, citizens and even supplies in order to destroy the will of the enemy to fight. Examples include the warfare that was conducted by ancient civilizations, and by the Nazis during World War II
Populist Party is a political party that was created in the late 1800s by American farmers. The principal goals of the party were: direct election of senators, government ownership of rail roads, telephone, telegraph, etc, and graduated income tax.
The five specific problems that led to the formation of the Populist Party are:
corruption in voting, silencing of public opinions, isolation of voters, denial of unionization and large number of poor people in comparison to the rich.<span />
A few major inventions that were invented after World War II were the following:
- Computers. These were invented in 1971 by Ed Roberts.
- Medical penicillin. This was invented in 1941 by a group of medical professionals.
- Jet engines. In the closing months of the war, jet engines came to the force. The first technology was developed in 1939 to 1945, and is now used all over the globe.
