Answer:

1727 inches or approximately 143.91667 feet

Step-by-step explanation:

circumfrence is the diameter*\pi so its 3.14*22 inches. this gives you a circumfrence of 69.08 inches which is eaual to one revolution. you simply have to do 69.08*25=1727inches. I didnt know if you also needed  the answer in feet, so i divided that by 12 to get an approxamation of 143.91667 feet (it comes out with a repeating 6, so i rounded it to 7 on the third to six be accurate).

Line CD passes through points C(3, -5) and D(6, 0) . what is the equation of the line CD in standard form?
Kazeer [188]

Answer:

Option 2: 5x - 3y = 30

Step-by-step explanation:

Step 1: Find slope

(0-(-5))/(6-3) = 5/3

Step 2: Find <em>b</em>

y = 5/3x + b

0 = 5/3(6) + b

b = -10

Step 3: Write in slope-intercept form

y = 5/3x - 10

Step 4: Move x over

-5/3x + y = -10

Step 5: Multiply by -3 on both sides

5x - 3y = 30

And we have our final answer!

a rectangle measures by 3 cm by 4 cm. a rectangle similar to the first measures 12 cm by 16 cm. find the ratio of the areas of r
kumpel [21]
The side that measures 12 cm corresponds to the side that measures 3 cm.
The side that measures 16 cm corresponds to the side that measures 4 cm.
The ratio of the side lengths is (12 cm)/(3 cm) = (16 cm)/(4 cm) = 4

Now let's calculate the two areas.

For the 3 cm by 4 cm rectangle:
A = LW = 3 cm * 4 cm = 12 cm^2

For the 12 cm by 16 cm rectangle:
A = LW = 12 cm * 16 cm = 192 cm^2

The ratio of the areas is (192 cm^2)/(12 cm^2) = 16

The ratio of the areas is 16.
The ratio of side lengths is 4.
Notice that 16 = 4^2.
The ratio of the areas is the square of the ratio of the side lengths.

Find the zeros of each function by using a graph and a table. f(x)=x^2+2x–24.
Alborosie

Explanation

Step 1

f(x)=x^2+2x-24

Zeros

A(-6,0) B(4,0)

because

\begin{gathered} f(x)=x^2+2x-24 \\ f(-6)=(-6)^2+2(-6)-24=36-12-24=0 \\ f(4)=4^2+2\cdot4-24=16+8-24=0 \end{gathered}

Step 2

table

\begin{gathered} (-6,0) \\ (4,0) \\ f(-1)=-1^2+2\cdot-1-24=1-2-24=-25 \\ (1,-25) \\  \end{gathered}

I hope this helps you
