The long struggle for copyright and, every day, a new chapter is written. At last, as conquered women or right to drive in Saudi Arabia. It seems small, but for those who depend on their husbands to come and go, it is an invaluable victory.

The origins of the feminist movement are closely linked to the claim for basic rights such as education, voting and labor. As much as there is a tendency to date it from the 1960s, acts of the last century can already be considered feminist.

The claims for women's rights began in the 18th century, but the word feminism did not appear even in the late 19th century. Considering didactically, the feminist movement has gone through three important moments throughout history.

13 Which of the following factors triggered the French Revolution?
Crank

Answer:

C) A financial crisis triggered the French Revolution.

Explanation:

Many factors caused the French revolution but most of them stemmed from poverty and financial crisis. France was divided into three estates which due to some politics and other issues led to social inequalities.

One cause of the revolution was because the two states had privileges like collecting tithe and paying taxes was not a requirement while the third state paid hefty taxes. Therefore, the third state rebelled in retaliation. Another cause was the financial crisis due to countless battles fought.

The battles cost France a lot leading to the economic crisis and brink of bankruptcy. These wars include the war which French formed allies with America in the pursuit of American independence. Other factors include poor harvest and increased bread prices. There had been a volcano eruption which led to bad weathers, poor harvest, poverty, and famines. This exasperated the retail price of staple food and other supplies.

Effects if splitting the Roman Empire?
maria [59]

Answer:

Splitting the Roman empire into two parts however did not work. Rome was now easily attacked by military invaders. Rome also could not fight well. They had to hire mercenaries to fight for them. This was not the best plan because mercenaries are not always loyal to the country that they are fighting for. Rome also faced political turmoil. The government was now very oppressive which lost them the support of the Roman people. Rome also faced economic weakness, due to very high taxes. Rome also relied more heavily on slaves not the technology that they had developed and used before. The final problem that faced Rome was the social decay. Romans no longer held the key values of the Roman culture like patriotism, discipline, and devotion to duty and the upper class was too dedicated to luxury and prestige.

Who was the last “liberal” Republican president and who was the first “liberal” Democratic president? Who was the first “conserv
gayaneshka [121]

1. Many make the argument that Richard Nixon was the last "liberal" Republican president, considering opening up of trade and signing into law massive environmental policies.

2. Many consider FDR to be the moment that the Democratic party switched from a more agrarian conservative party to the modern "liberal" party that it is today. As I mentioned with your other question, this occurred after Progressives that had split after Teddy Roosevelt last found their new home in the Democratic party. A similar drift would occur as Richard Nixon used the Southern Strategy to peel southern Democrats away and towards the new Republican party

3. Many consider Ronald Reagan to be the first true modern conservative President. Reagan embraced many of the tenets of the failed Goldwater presidential run and is still hailed as the gold standard for Conservative presidents.

4. Many consider Lyndon Johnson to be our most reliably liberal presidents. Johnson took the New Deal programs and expanded them with his "War on Poverty" but his legacy was ultimately complicated by the war in Vietnam.
