The correct answer is A

For the commutative property of addition, it does not matter matter the order, the result is the same.

That is.

a+b=b+a

Therefore for the given problem,

1+12=12+1

Any way you add it you get the same result.

That is;

1+12=13

and also

12+1=13

ether you choose yo add 12 to 1 or you choose to add 1 to 12 the value is the same.

An arrow is fired directly horizontal off a cliff that is 10 meters tall with a velocity of 65.5m/s.
kipiarov [429]
A We can observe independently vertical component of arrows speed. Since there isn't vertical speed at start we can observe this case as free fall where formula for traveled distance is:
h = 1/2*g*t^2

we can express t

t = √2h/g
t = 1,427s
after 1.427 seconds in air arrow will hit ground.
B. The range we get simply by calculating how much  distance will arrow travel in 1.427 seconds at speed of 64.5m/s. speed is not changing because we are ignoring air resistance.

s = t*v = 93.468m

CaHeK987 [17]
1. Factor out the greatest common factor (GCF). (There will not always be one). 2. Count the number of terms.
3. Check to be sure each factor is prime, if not, repeat 1-3.
4. Check by multiplying the factors out to see if you get the original polynomial.
