Answer:

-1

Step-by-step explanation:

Simplify the equation out.

y + 10 = -1x + 15

y = -1x + 5

We can use slope intercept form.

y = mx + b

We typically don't put a 1 in front of a variable, but for slope purposes, I put it.

So the slope (m value) would be -1.

-1 since in point slope form [ y-y1=m(x-x1)] m=slope and in y+10= -(x-15) “-“ is written and when there isn’t a number there (in front on parentheses) the number is 1. So the answer is -1.
Btw this is just another way to work this out the other answer can be used as well

Bryan is asked to write an inequality to represent the graph.
Fittoniya [83]

The error that Bryan has done in this inequality is that he included –14 in his solution set.

How to point out the mistake made

What Bryan has to do would be to write this inequality in such a way that the variable would appear on the left.

But the symbol that he has chosen does not move in this same direction as the graph.

The -14 should not be inclusive in the graph because it is not a part of the graph solution.

He used the wrong number in this inequality.

Write 9.4*10^7
a. in standard notation
b. write out the name of this number
Vitek1552 [10]

Answer:

a. 94,000,000

b. Ninety-four million

Step-by-step explanation:

In order to find this number, move the decimal place to the right by the number in the exponent. Since the exponent is 7, we move it to the right of the 4 (that's one move), then we have six more moves. So we add six zeroes to the end of the number.
