The farmers Alliance was an organized agrarian economic movement among the U.S. farmers that flourished in the 1880s.
So I woud say they both worked to boost economic profits.

I could be wrong though. I am not 100% sure that's the answer. more like 85% sure.

It demanded silver as the currency of the country, fewer income taxes, the ownership of the railroads by the government, and lower tariffs.
