To find the missing length you must break this shape into two other shapes. A square, and a right triangle. To do this you take the top value and subtract the bottom. 8-5=3. So one value of the triangle is 3, and the side is 5 since it is parallel and equal to the sides of the square. To find the missing value, you will use the formula "a^2+b^2=c^2." Side A will be our side value of 5. 5x5=25. Side B will be the value of 3. 3x3=9. 25+9=34. And now we find the square root of 34. This is 5.830951895.

How long will it take 680 dollars to earn 102 dollars in simple interest at an annual interest rate of 3%? Show your work in an
jenyasd209 [6]
Simple interest is where 3% of the original value is added on each year

goal number = $102

original number = $680
3% of $680 can be found by getting 1% and multiplying by 3
100% = original number = $680
100% / 100 = 1% so $680 / 100 = $6.80 = 1%
3% = $6.80 * 3 = $20.40

so each year the money rises by $20.40

to find out how many years it would take to get to $102:
$102 / $20.40 = 5 years

On a coordinate plane, point B is at (1, negative 1). Point B has coordinate B(1, –1). What is the coordinate of B' under a scal
Ray Of Light [21]

Answer:

(3,-3)

Step-by-step explanation:

If a coordinate (x, y) is dilated by a factor k, the resulting coordinate will be (kx, ky)

Given the coordinate (1, -1), if dilated by a factor of 3, the resulting coordinate will be (3(1), 3(-1)) = (3, -3)

Hence the required coordinate will be (3,-3)
