Simplify 4x+3y+9-y+16x-(-22) simplify -z+2+z -4y+5

1) 4x+16x
2) 20x+3y-y
3) 20x+2y+9-(-22)
4) 20x+2y+31

I'm not absolutely certain, because I'm just learning about this in school, but I'm pretty sure that's right. 

For the second one...

1) -z+z-4y+5+2
2) 0-4y+5+2
3) 0-4y+7

Again, not certain, so you may wanna look at the other answers first, but that's my best answer, so I hope this helps! :)

4x+3y+9-y+16x-(-22) 

= 4x+3y+9 - y+16x +22
= 4x + 16x + 3y - y+ 9 + 22
= 20x + 2y + 31
----------------------------------------
-z+2+z -4y+5
= -4y +z -z + 2 + 5
= -4y + 7
