6y^2 + 6y + 2y + 2 = 6y^2 + 8y + 2

The way you do this is basically multiplying the values in the brackets with 6y, and then adding that to the same values multiplied by 2.

TEN POINTS:
neonofarm [45]

Answer:

81/16 = 5 1/16

Step-by-step explanation:

-4(square root of x) -3 = -12

Add 3 to both sides

-4(square root of x) = -12 +3 = -9

Divide both sides by -4

(square root of x) = -9/-4

-/- equals +

(square root of x) = 9/4

Square both sides to cancel the square root

x = (9/4)^2 = 81/16 = 5 1/16

If we are trying to find the total all we have to do is multiply 5 by 6 then add 8.3

5 x 6 = 30

30 + 8.3 = 38.3

Hope this helps

isabella is covering a square tabletop with square mossaic tiles.the tabletop is 2ft. long and 2ft.wide.each tile is 1/4 in.long
Hunter-Best [27]
Convert the feet to inches first.  2 ft = 24 inches.  We must divide this total length by the length of each tile to determine how many tiles will fit across the tabletop:

24 ÷ (1/4) = (24/1) ÷ (1/4) = (24/1) × (4/1) = 96/1 = 96

96 tiles will fit across the tabletop.
Since the tabletop is as long as it is wide, that means we will have 96 rows of 96 tiles:
96(96) = 9,216 tiles to cover the tabletop.
