Ok to start this problem you must list two numbers that add to 14

7 and 7

9 and 5

10 and 4

6 and 8

those are the numbers that we will use for now..

Now multiply each pair of numbers and see which one equals 45

7 * 7 = 49, no

9 * 5 = 45, YES

10 * 4 = 40, No

6 * 8 = 48, No

The numbers discovered are 9 and 5

cestrela7 [59]

Answer:

n =7

Step-by-step explanation:

(n+1) +1 + (n-1) = value  first row

3+ (2n-9) +n = value   second row

The value has to be the same

Set the equations equal

(n+1) +1 + (n-1) =3+ (2n-9) +n

Combine like terms

2n+1 = 3n-6

Subtract 2n from each side

2n+1-1 -2n = 3n-6-2n

1 = n-6

Add 6 to each side

1+6 = n-6+6

7 = n

Help me please. Not sure how to solve this. Can someone show me how to do it step by step. -2/5x-9<9/10
Elena L [17]
Leave the x alone first. -2/5x<9/10+9. then -2/5×<99/10. multiply both sides by 5 you'll get -99/2 < 2x. then divide both sides by 2 you'll get -99/4 < ×
