Answer:

£100.80

Step-by-step explanation:

Lets start with the original price of the tickets.

£12 x 6 = £72

£6 x 3 = £18

£18 + £72 = £90

So now we know the tickets would have cost £90.

We now have to work out how much 10% is.

To do that, we have to divide by 10

90 / 10 = 9

10% = £9

Add that the the ticket cost.

£90 + £9 = £99.

Then we have the 2% for the credit card.

To get 2%, we first have to find 1%, which is found by dividing by 100

90 / 100 = 0.9

1% = 0.90

0.9 x 2 = 1.8

2% = 1.80

Add that to the previous total and there's your answer.

£99 + £1.80 = £100.80

What is the coefficient of b in the expression b+10? Explain
MariettaO [177]

Hello!

A coefficient is a constant multiplied by a variable. As you can see, b is not being multiplied by a number we can see. The thing is, it still has a coefficient. Isn't 1b the same thing as b? This would mean our coefficient would be 1.

I hope this helps!

4 bracelets/17 minutes = x bracelets/34 minutes
cross multiply: 4 · 34 = 17 · x

harina [27]

Answer:

The correct option is (B).

Step-by-step explanation:

The median (m) is a measure of central tendency. To obtain the median, we assemble the data in arising order. If the data is odd, the median is the mid-value. If the data is even, the median is the arithmetic-mean of the two mid-values.

The mean of a data set is:

\bar X=\frac{1}{n}\sum\limits^{n}_{x=0}{X}

For the three kittens it is provided that the weights are in the range 147 g to 159 g.

So, the mean and median weight for the 3 kittens lies in the middle of this range.

Now a fourth kitten is born, with weight 57 g.

Now the range of the weight of 4 kittens is, 57 g to 159 g.

The mean is going to decrease as one more value is added to the data and the value is the least.

The median will also decrease because now the median will be mean of the 2nd and 3rd values.

But the mean would decrease more than the median because a smaller value is added to the data.

Thus, the correct option is (B).
