Answer:

25 x^2

Step-by-step explanation:

Simplify the following:

((5^(-2)/2^3)^4 2^28 x x)/((2^8/5^5×19^0)^2)

2^28 = (2^14)^2 = ((2^7)^2)^2 = ((2×2^6)^2)^2 = ((2 (2^3)^2)^2)^2 = ((2 (2×2^2)^2)^2)^2:

((5^(-2)/2^3)^4 ((2 (2×2^2)^2)^2)^2 x x)/(((2^8×19^0)/5^5)^2)

2^2 = 4:

((5^(-2)/2^3)^4 ((2 (2×4)^2)^2)^2 x x)/(((2^8×19^0)/5^5)^2)

2×4 = 8:

((5^(-2)/2^3)^4 ((2×8^2)^2)^2 x x)/(((2^8×19^0)/5^5)^2)

8^2 = 64:

((5^(-2)/2^3)^4 ((2×64)^2)^2 x x)/(((2^8×19^0)/5^5)^2)

2×64 = 128:

((5^(-2)/2^3)^4 (128^2)^2 x x)/(((2^8×19^0)/5^5)^2)

((5^(-2)/2^3)^4 268435456 x x)/(((2^8×19^0)/5^5)^2)

19^0 = 1:

((5^(-2)/2^3)^4 268435456 x x)/((2^8/5^5)^2)

5^5 = 5×5^4 = 5 (5^2)^2:

((5^(-2)/2^3)^4 268435456 x x)/((2^8/(5 (5^2)^2))^2)

5^2 = 25:

((5^(-2)/2^3)^4 268435456 x x)/((2^8/(5×25^2))^2)

5×625 = 3125:

((5^(-2)/2^3)^4 268435456 x x)/((2^8/3125)^2)

2^8 = (2^4)^2 = ((2^2)^2)^2:

((5^(-2)/2^3)^4 268435456 x x)/((((2^2)^2)^2/3125)^2)

2^3 = 2×2^2:

(((1/25)/(2×2^2))^4 268435456 x x)/(65536/9765625)

Multiply exponents. (1/(25×8))^4 = (25×8)^(-4):

((25×8)^(-4) 268435456 x x)/(65536/9765625)

Multiply each exponent in 25×8 by -4:

(268435456 x x)/(65536/9765625) 1/25^4×1/8^4

8^4 = (8^2)^2:

((268435456 x x)/(25^4 (8^2)^2))/(65536/9765625)

390625×4096 = 1600000000:

((268435456 x x)/1600000000)/(65536/9765625)

The gcd of 268435456 and 1600000000 is 4096, so (x x×268435456)/1600000000 = ((4096×65536) x x)/(4096×390625) = 4096/4096×(65536 x x)/390625 = (65536 x x)/390625:

((65536 x x)/390625)/(65536/9765625)

Combine powers. (65536 x x)/390625 = (65536 x^(1 + 1))/390625:

((65536 x^(1 + 1))/390625)/(65536/9765625)

Multiply the numerator by the reciprocal of the denominator, ((65536 x^(1 + 1))/390625)/(65536/9765625) = (65536 x^(1 + 1))/390625×9765625/65536:

(65536×9765625 x^(1 + 1))/(390625×65536)

1 + 1 = 2:

(65536×9765625 x^2)/(390625×65536)

(65536 x^2×9765625)/(390625×65536) = 65536/65536×(x^2×9765625)/390625 = (x^2×9765625)/390625:

Step-by-step explanation:

Let :

Cars = C ; Motorcycle = M ; Tricycle = T ; Walking = W

a) How many students ride in a tricycle, motorcycle and car going to their school

Intersection of the 3 modes;

(C n M n T) = 15 ; it is the number which sits in between all the three circles.

B.) How many students ride in both a motorcycle and a tricycle?

(M n T) = 17 ; number in the middle of both circles representing motorcycle and tricycle

C.) How many students ride in both a motorcycle and a car?

(M n C) = 20 ; number in the middle of both circles representing motorcycle and Car

D) How many students ride in both a car and tricycle?

(C n T) = 19 ; number in the middle of both circles representing Car and tricycle

e.)How many students go to school

in a car only = 55

in a motorcycle only = 67

Tricycle only = 76

Walking = 100

F.) How many Grade Seven students of Koronadal National Comprehensive High School are there in all?

(100 + 67 + 76 + 55 + 19 + 20 + 17 + 15) = 369

Suppose p(a) = 0.40 and p(a 
sveticcg [70]
Between the probability of union and intersection, it's not clear what you're supposed to compute. (I would guess it's the probability of union.) But we do know that

P(A\cup B)+P(A\cap B)=P(A)+P(B)

For parts (a) and (b), you're given everything you need to determine P(B).

For part (c), if A and B are mutually exclusive, then P(A\cap B)=0, so P(A\cup B)=P(A)+P(B). If the given probability is P(A\cup B)=0.55, then you can find P(B)=0.15. But if this given probability is for the intersection, finding P(B) is impossible.

For part (d), if A and B are independent, then P(A\cap B)=P(A)\cdot P(B).

yulyashka [42]
I disagree. The first one is false. No exponent rules apply if the bases AND the exponents are different.

The second one is true. Bases are the sane so you add exponents. You get 3 to the -5 power. Written with positive exponents it’s 1/3 to the 5.
