Study as much as you can. Write out only the stuff you know you will probably forget in your notes. Basically study whatever you definitely are not most comfortably on then a week before the test study what you are comfortable on. Do it over and over again until you are right or believe that you know how to it.

A strategy that I have for studying is flashcards mostly. I also may just look over what will be asked on the test and make sure I understand it and do practice on what the test will be about.

Write about a typical week in your life.Or imagine a day in the life of famous person and write about it. Please!
nika2105 [10]
Everyday I wake up earlier, to study or to complete the homework I haven't done last night. I go to school at about 11:40 am. I arrive home at 18:00 pm, and I am really tired. After I eat, I play 30 mins on my console or I am reading a book. I do my homework at about 19:00 pm and after I finish, I go to sleep at about 21:00 pm. In the weekend, I wake up at about 10 am, I eat, and I watch a serial for 1-2 hour(s). I hangout with my friends in the afternoon and when I arrive home, I do my homework for the next week. Sunday is that day where you just want to sleep. This is my typical week in my everyday life.

In about 100 words explain Odysseus’s strategy to win back his home and his wife.
melamori03 [73]
Odysseus takes back his home and wife by sneaking up the on the sailors and killing them. He doesn’t appreciate that his house has been run over and that random men are trying to marry his wife but she also has a plan herself. She tells the sailors that she will marry one of them when she finishes her rig so every night she unravels it so she starts over until Odysseus comes back. He fights the sailors off and they die.

In this paragraph, the author uses personification, such as hearing them groan about how damaging and terrible it would be to cut down the trees. Hence, Option B is correct.

What is personification?

When human traits are given to non-living things and used in poems, they come under the term personification. Personification in poetry includes words like "blowing" for wind, "shining" for sun, and many more.

Therefore, the author uses personification, such as hearing them groan about how damaging and terrible it would be to cut down the trees. Option B is correct.

1. What happens in "Birches" by Robert Frost? How do the poem’s language, images, and symbols convey its themes to readers? Do y
Lunna [17]

Answer:

1. What happens in "Birches" by Robert Frost?

Robert Frost had written in his poem describing what he sees in bent birch trees. He said he thinks that they are bent by the boys swinging off of them, but he knows that they are bent by the ice storms. Robert had his own vision of the trees other than the real reason. He used his imagination. The theme of this poem was a way to escape rationality or the truth of the adult world. Like the boy is climbing the tree, a way towards heaven, a place where his imagination can be free, only for a moment.

How do the poem’s language, images, and symbols convey its themes to readers? There are a lot of language types in writing. Such as humor, Puns, structure and repetition, and Verse and Prose. The most suitable language for the “birches” would be blank verse. Blank verse is poems written with no rhyme. It is a sad story but it does have that twist that makes it have a more fascinating picture to it.

Do you prefer this type of modernist poem or more experimental ones? Why?

Yes, because it seems to me more real and not affected by unnecessary decorations.
