Answer:

C. because she terrorized Agastya and his disciples

Explanation:

A. because she wanted to challenge Lord Rama❌

The account of Sri Rama and Tataka can be seen in the Hindu epic Ramayana. Tataka's father Suketu happens to be a Yaksha king who did Tapas to satisfy Lord Brahma in oder to get an offspring.

Suketu prayed for a son, but Brahma gave him a daughter, wondeful and great in physique. He named her Tataka. Hence, Tataka didn't challenge Lord Raja.

B. because she wanted to control the forest land❌

No! The aftermath of the curse of Agastya, turned Tataka to someone inhabiting the land of Malaja and Karusha in a forest land not far from the river Ganga, against the confluence of the river Sarayu.

C. because she terrorized Agastya and his disciples✔✔✔

The moment, Rishi Agastya cast a spell on Tataka's father Suketu to death. Tataka planned to perform huge revenge on the sage. She had the help of her son, Subahu. This bitter and angered Agastya placed a curse on Tataka to be without her beauty and wonderful physique, and turned her from a beautiful lady to a demonic creature with a with and cannibalistic attributes. The curse worked and turned Tataka to a man-killer with a distasteful and fierce appearance.

D. because Tataka’s husband threatened him❌

She got wedded to Sunda. She was blessed with two sons Maricha and Subahu and a daughter, Kaikasi.

Tataka and Sunda decided to marry off her daughter, Kaikasi to the Rishi Visravas so that her seed can be all-powerful. The account as not instance of Tataka’s husband threatening Visravas, therefore, it is wrong.

gogolik [260]
<span>The answer is Byron: Professor David Lurie is a man in denial, about his superiority, about his keen humility, and about his sexual use of women.
