Which term describes cycles of hot and cold temperatures which expand and contract rock in combination with constant wind and wa
marishachu [46]

The correct answer is option C, that is, physical weathering.

The weathering resulting due to the influences of changing temperatures on a rock, making the rock to split apart is known as physical weathering. There are two main kinds of physical weathering, that is, exfoliation and freeze-thaw.

Physical weathering takes place mainly in the locations, where few plants grow and little formation of soil occurs, like hot deserts and mountain regions. It takes place either via repeated freezing and melting of water or via contraction and expansion of the rocks surface layer, which is baked by the sun.

Can someone write a paragraph explaining Etiolation. PLEASEEEE
Anit [1.1K]

Etioliation means that you water plants that are planted in an area with little to no sunlight. This results in weak stems, smaller leaves, yellow color, etc. The seedlings that are grown in the dark are known as "skotomorphogenesis." Etiolation comes from something called "Auxin's" and Auxin's are moved from the top of the plant to the bottom which creates lateral buds. Typically, etiliation results in the chances being raised for the plant to receive sunlight but causes underiable symptoms.

Best of Luck!

(honest question) How come whenever archaeologists uncover human remains they are always male or female and not any of the other
Doss [256]

I think you're confused. There are only two sexes, male and female. Sex is what you were biologically born as from birth, while gender is what you choose to identify as. Gender is a choice, sex isn't. They couldn't discover any other genders because at the time they probably didn't even know what gender was like three thousand years ago, therefore they couldn't look like a different gender.
