Read the paragraph. Enkidu, who had met the beast, warned Gilgamesh of the dangers involved, explaining that Gilgamesh did not "

know the horror that lurks ahead." Upon seeing the beast Humbaba, Gilgamesh himself became seized with dread and terror. However, despite Enkidu’s warning and his own temporary paralysis upon seeing Humbaba, Gilgamesh charged at Humbaba with his axe. He demonstrated that he was able to summon the bravery necessary to overcome his fear and attack the frightening beast. Answer:

Gilgamesh proved his bravery when he engaged in a battle with a strong and fierce antagonist.

Explanation:

The given excerpt is taken from the "Epic of Gilgamesh" written anonymously.

The given excerpt tells of the bravery and courage of Gilgamesh when he defeated the most dreaded and fierce monster named Humbaba. Though Gilgamesh was at first frightened by the sight of Humbaba, but later he took the courage and beheaded the beast.

Since the paragraph describes the acts of bravery of Gilgamesh, the introduction should be about the same.

So, the correct and apt introduction to the paragraph would be that Gilgamesh proved his bravery and defeated Humbaba, the strong a fierce antagonist.

Bruno says to maria, “i’m only saying what i feel. i’m allowed to do that, aren’t i?” what is her reply, and why does she say th
Schach [20]
I suppose Maria would reply in her argument where she is against because if he is pleading that he "only saying what I feel.I am allowed to do that aren't I?" Makes it seem like no he isnt which means she is against. Therefore she would answer with negative undertones.

However this conversation could also be Bruno Gaslightting her and Maria never implied this. Therefore because of the response she received she could reply negatively again.

Lastly she could forget the entire situation and apologise. All options seem like Maria has something to lose.
