If oxygen is available, the products of glycolysis are used in cellular respiration. Glycolysis alone produces a small amount of ATP. But other products of glycolysis are used later in cellular respiration to make lots of ATP. These other products are NADH, which carries energy, and pyruvate.

Which best describes oogenesis and spermatogenesis?
pochemuha
The answer is B. In both oogenesis and spermatogenesis, the cells become haploid after meiosis I.

Gametogenesis is a process in which gametes are produced. Oogenesis is a process in which egg cells are produced and spermatogenesis is a process in which sperm cells are produced. Both processes include meiosis.
Original diploid cell (primary oocyte or spermatogonium) has 46 chromosomes. After meiosis I, there are two haploid cells. After meiosis II, there are 4 haploid cells because meiosis II is similar to mitosis. The difference between spermatogenesis and oogenesis is that those 4 cells after meiosis II in spermatogenesis are all sperm cells, and in oogenesis only one of them is egg cell.

Answer:

 • Medullary hormones: the epineprhin and the norepineprhin. Five different effects that these hormones produce are: increase heart rate, produce cardiac muscle contraction, elevate blood preasure, increase breathing, dicrease digestive activity, increase metabolic rate.
 • The most important mineralocorticoid secreted by the adrenal cortex: aldosterone.
 • Actions of the aldosterone: 1. Conserves sodioum ions and water in kidneys. 2. Excrete potasium ions 3. Conserves H2O.

Explanation:

The epineprhin and norepineprhin are the most important medullary hormons. They are so important because of the functions that they have. They are responsable for the increase of heart rate and if it´s movement, along with digestive and metabolic activity.

Thanks to the aldosterone which is the most important secreted minaralocoricoid, kidneys conserve water and sodium and eliminate posatium.
