Answer: I belive its C because they believed the romans would go in their territory causing them to want to build a defense. It would not be A because it is not related to the subject of the question and it would not be B because if the waters were already strong enought o keep them away they wouldnt need more defense if that makes sense. Hope this helps!

DaniilM [7]
The antonym of this word is A. a follower.
When you say dissident meaning a person who loves to oppose everytime.
A provider, a protester and a contender are all synonyms of this word. A follower thus is the antonym of it because a follower never opposes. It always follows.

Read the passage from Eleanor Roosevelt’s speech on the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
Korvikt [17]

Answer:

Roosevelt’s goal in the passage is to persuade the general assembly to pass the UDHR at the fourth session.

Explanation:

This is because the soviet proposal is made in order to defer the consideration of the declaration in the 4th session of the assembly. There must be approval by the assembly in the 4th session before the declaration of the rights is too late. There was rejection of the committee because of the different facts and finally it was passed in the 4th session.
