Photographs taken with 3-D microscope has more minute details, which naked eye cannot see i.e microorganisms as compared to regular camera, which is used to capture pictures of events or anything as they are in the normal world. They are both similar when it comes to capturing any thing because purpose of both these imaging technologies is to capture in the form of images. Photographs taken with 3-D microscope often serves the purpose of study and research like study of viruses is based on photographs taken from microscope while regular camera is used to cover an event and photos taken from normal camera can be used by journalists, to report an event.

⦁ Traditional microscopes, also called as optical microscopes, are commonly used to magnify small objects whereas, a digital microscope is a microscope that is made up of a tiny digital camera (CMOS) and can be wired to a computer.
