We know that
Part 1)
1) Sam exercised by stretching and jogging 5 days last week.
2) He stretched for a total of 25 minutes during the week
3) He jogged for an equal number of minutes each of the 5 days
4) He exercised for a total of 240 minutes

Sam's exercise during the week=stretching + jogging
stretching=25 minutes
Sam's exercise during the week=240 minutes
so
jogging=240-25-----> 215 minutes
divide 215 minutes by 5
215/5=43 minutes of jogging each day

the answer part 1) is
the number of minutes Sam jogged each day last week is 43 minutes

Part 2)
1) Linda also exercised by stretching and jogging 5 days last week
2) She stretched for 15 minutes each day
3) She jogged for an equal number of minutes each of the 5 days.
4) She exercised for a total of 300 minutes

Linda's exercise during the week=stretching + jogging
Linda's exercise during the week=300 minutes
stretching=15*5-----> 75 minutes
jogging=300-75-----> 225 minutes
divide 225 by 5
225/5=45 minutes of jogging each day

the answer part 2) is
the number of minutes Linda jogged each day last week is 45 minutes

how many square meters of tile are needed to tile the sides and bottom of the swimming pool that's 25 by 20
Burka [1]
The bottom is (25 x 20) = 500 of whatever those units are, squared. Each long side is (25 x the depth of the pool, which we don't know), and each end is (20 x depth).
