They will get a Green Ribbon and a Blue ribbon because 1/4 and 1/8 have a common denominator with 3/4 This means ever 1/4 a mile you get a blue ribbon and in that there is 1/4, 2/4, 3/4 and 4/4every 1/8 mile you get a green ribbon and in 1/8 there is 1/8, 2/8, 3/8, 4/8, 5/8, 6/8 (which is equal to 3/4 because 6 divided by 2 is 3 and 8 divided by 2 is 4), 7/8, and 8/8For 1/2 there is only 1/2 and 2/2 Hope this helped=)

A set of numbers satisfies Benford’s Law if the probability of a number starting with digit d is P(d) = log(d + 1) – log(d).
irakobra [83]

Interpreting the graph and the situation, it is found that the values of d that can be included in the solution set are 1 and 4.

----------------------

  • According to Benford's law, the probability of a number starting with digit is d is:

P(d) = \log{(d + 1}} - \log{d}

  • A number can start with 10 possible digits, ranging from 1 to 9, which are all integer digits.
  • Thus, d can only assume integer digits.
  • In the graph, the solution is d < 5.
  • The integer options for values of d are 1 and 4.
  • For the other options that are less than 5, they are not integers, so d cannot assume those values.
