sponges have flagellated cells called Choanocytes that line their internal chambers and create water flow to capture food.
One of the main function of choanocyte is to generate a flow of water through the sponges for to be used during its repiratory and digestive process
The lock and key model is where the substrate has a specific shape which can fit into the specific shape of the active site of the enzyme, just like how a key has a specific shape which can fit into a specific lock.
In other words, the substrate is complementary (same shape) to a specific enzyme, so the substrate can bind/fit to the enzyme.
