They are both on the end of the Pacific rim. They both have an above average number of volcanoes, and they are steeper and more narrow then other mountain ranges. This is a result of their both straddling and colliding continental plates and being on top of very active geological fault lines.

Select the correct answer.
Semmy [17]

Answer:

C. emigration

Explanation:

Definition of emigration is when more people leave a country or certain area more than people moving in, because of certain push factors, such as war, famine, disease, etc. (Factors that make people want to leave your area.)

Immigration is when people migrate to your country/area

Increased food supply means there is more people to feed, meaning more people will want to move to your country/area.

Diffusion is when people spread out in your country, taking up more space, leaving less living room for more people in the population.

Write a journal about the geography of the world (the physical nature of the world) (2-3 sentences only)
dmitriy555 [2]

Answer:

Physical geography is the branch of natural science which deals with the study of processes and patterns in the natural environment such as the atmosphere, hydrosphere, biosphere, and geosphere, as opposed to the cultural or built environment, the domain of human geography.

These features include vegetation, climate, the local water cycle, and land formations. Geography doesn't just determine whether humans can live in a certain area or not, it also determines people's lifestyles, as they adapt to the available food and climate patterns.

An example of physical geography is knowledge of earth's oceans and land masses. The scientific study of the natural features of the Earth's surface, especially in its current aspects, including land formation, climate, currents, and distribution of flora and fauna.
