The researchers kept their identities secret because, if they had revealed that their purpouse was to conduct an experiment on the behaviours of the people in the bar, it might have triggered that some people changed their usual attitudes because they know that their 'figures' will be kept in a record.

Maybe some people will drink less as they feel embarrased if some other person is testing how many beers they end. Others, might want to prove themselves 'strong' and drink much more than usual. People change their behaviour sometimes when they are aware that they are watched. This is called the observer effect.

“Quarrying has become a major environmental concern”. Which of the following option does not
kirza4 [7]

Answer:

d) All of the above

Explanation:

Quarrying is the commercial extraction of building raw material, stones and marbles. It can become a major environmental concern due to the following reasons:

1) Fine dust particles which spread in the air around a quarrying site causes air pollution and respiratory problems.

2) It produces noise pollution because of the heavy machinery and the blasts to break huge chunks of rocks.

3) Blasting often generates vibration which may damage the nearby buildings or similar structures.

4) Destroys the natural vegetation and ruins the natural habitats for plants and animals.

Fund for Care, a large nonprofit organization, was holding a meeting on social responsibility, and the speakers addressed topics
faltersainse [42]

Answer:

carbon management

Explanation:

The speakers spoke on the themes of sustainable work environments, carbon management, corporate philanthropy, the digital divide, and privacy invasion. As you can see, all the lectures report a discussion about a socio-environmental theme focused on the corporate environment and the relations of that environment with society and natural resources. The only lecture that does not fit this type of theme is the one focused on "carbon management".

This is because this theme is aimed at the industrial productive sector, and does not refer to a socio-environmental issue, specifically, like the other themes.
