Producers make their own food through the process called photosynthesis, which uses water and sunlight to produce glucose and oxygen as a byproduct. It uses glucose to power its cells.
Hello! This is a very interesting sea animal to study. So, most starfish have five arms that radiate from a central disc, but the number varies with the group. Luidia ciliaris has seven arms, members of the Solasteridae have ten to fifteen while the Antarctic Labidiaster annulatus can have up to fifty. It is not unusual in species that typically have five arms for some individuals to possess six or more through abnormal development. That’s really all I know about the anatomy of a starfish. I hope this helps.
If you have further questions please post them in comments. Have a great night!

The anatomical structure of bird wings and butterfly wings when compared to each other are found to be Analogous.
Explanation:
Analogous structures are structures that share functions and may look alike because both adapted in the same way to the same conditions in the environment. However, they may have a distant evolutionary relationship. Another example is the wings of a bat and wings of a bird. These two features are analogous because remember that a bat is a mammal while a bird is an ave. Homologous structures share close evolutionary relationship even though they may appear different.
