Answer:

The amount of electron that pass through the wire is 6.3*10^19. (Option C)

Explanation:

The current represent the amount of electriccharge iper period of time. When the current is in Ampere (A) the charge is expressed in Coulombs (C) and the time in seconds (s).

I=Q/T

Solving for Q and replacing the value for the current an a time of 1 seconds:

Q=I.T = 10 A * 1s = 10 C/s * 1s = 10 C

The amount of electrons is calculated by dividing the total charge by the charge of one electron. Recall for the charge of a one electron q is:

q=1.6*10^-19 C

Number of electrons = 10 C  / 1.6*10^-19 C = 6.3*10^19

Resistance is seen as part of ______________--- how a person understands his or her being and relationship to the world at large
aleksley [76]

Answer:

The self and world construct

Explanation:

in physics

Resistance is a measure of the opposition to current flow in an electrical circuit. Resistance is measured in ohms, symbolized by the Greek letter omega (Ω). Ohms are named after Georg Simon Ohm (1784-1854), a German physicist who studied the relationship between voltage, current and resistance.

Self psychology views resistances as protecting a vulnerable self. Resistances are seen as efforts to maintain levels of organization that patients have achieved within the context of their traumatic life situation.

A 50-cm-long spring is suspended from the ceiling. A 330 g mass is connected to the end and held at rest with the spring unstret
lukranit [14]

Explanation:

Given that,

Length of the spring, l = 50 cm = 0.5 m

Mass connected to the end, m = 330 g = 0.33 kg

The mass is released and falls, stretching the spring by 30 cm before coming to rest at its lowest point. On applying Newton's second law, 10 cm below the release point, x = 15 cm

(a) When the mass is connected, the force of gravity is balanced by the force in spring.

kx=mg\\\\k=\dfrac{mg}{x}\\\\k=\dfrac{0.33\times 9.8}{0.15}\\\\k=21.56\ N/m

(b) The amplitude of the oscillation will be 15 cm as it is half of the total distance travelled.

(c) The frequency of the oscillation is given by :

f=\dfrac{1}{2\pi}\sqrt{\dfrac{k}{m}} \\\\f=\dfrac{1}{2\pi}\sqrt{\dfrac{21.56}{0.33}} \\\\f=1.28\ Hz

Hence, this is the required solution.

During a baseball game, a batter hits a high pop-up. If the ball remains in the air for 4.02 s, how high above the point where i
alukav5142 [94]

Answer:

d = 19.796m

Explanation:

Since the ball is in the air for 4.02 seconds, the ball should reach the maximum point from the ground in half the total time, therefore, t=2.01s to reach maximum height. At the maximum height, the velocity in the y-direction is 0.

So we know t=2.01, vi=0, g=a=9.8m/s and we are solving for d.

Next, you look for a kinematic equation that has these parameters and the one you should choose is:

d=vt+\frac{1}{2}at^2

Now by substituting values in, we get

d=(0\frac{m}{s})*(2.01s)+\frac{1}{2}(9.8\frac{m}{s^2})(2.01)^2

d = 19.796m
