No, our solar system isn't the only one.

Explanation:

There are many other solar systems deep in space, waiting to be discovered.

The universe is big, it's impossible that our solar system isn't the only one.

Considering the fact we have milkyways, etc. We haven't gone outside if our solar system so, we might not be able to reach any other solar system quite yet.

There are endless possibilities out there.

Use the properties of logarithms to write the following expression as one logarithm. Logs logr + 8logr s − 3logr t mc001-1. Jpg
vagabundo [1.1K]

In this exercise we have to use the properties of the logarithm to write it in one way, like this:

log(r+s)(rs)^8/(rt)^3

From these  recalling some properties of the logarithm, we find that:

  • When the logarithm is equal to the base, the logarithm will always be equal to 1.
  • Logarithm of any base, whose logarithm is equal to 1, will always have the result equal to 0.
  • Two logarithms with the same base are equal when the logarithms are also equal.

given the equation as:

log(s)log(r)+8log(rs)-3log(rt)\\log(s+r)+8log(rs)-3log(rt)\\logg(r+s)(rs)^8/(rt)^3

Is this a good score on the sat test 680?
denpristay [2]
If you got a 680 SAT score, you're probably wondering how you compare to other students, and whether a 680 is good enough to get into college.

The truth is, it depends on your personal college goals and where you want to apply.
Note: this 680 score guide is for the New SAT, out of 1600. This score corresponds to a 870 in the old SAT out of 2400.

Amanda travels to work from home in 60
vodomira [7]

Answer:

50 minutes

Explanation:

We can set this up as a rate * time = distance problem. We can set the rate at which Amanda travels to work to be x, since that quantity is unknown. The time it takes is given to be 60 minutes. This means that the total distance she travels to get to work is 60x. On the other hand, the way back home has more unknown quantities. The exact rate is unknown, but we do know that it is 20% more than the rate at which Amanda travels to work. This means that the rate is x + .20x, or 1.2x. We can set the time to be y, which means the total distance she travels to get back home is 1.2xy. We are told that Amanda uses the same route to get to and from work, which means 60x = 1.2xy. All we have to do now is solve this equation:

60x=1.2xy\\60=1.2y\\y=50

If we divide through by x and then isolate y, we get that it takes Amanda 50 minutes to get home
