Aristotle defined ethos, logos, and pathos as the modes of persuasion in one of his treatises. he was a greek philosopher, which could have given you a small hint--ethos, logos, and pathos are words taken from the greek language. your answer is D.

So in order to avoid that, and to make her introduction even better, she should cite the original author of that particular sentence.
