Answer:

Here is a note to help you: Most numbers are rational numbers. Here is how you know when a number is rational or not [especially if its a decimal].

Rational:

- Decimals are usually rational. Rational decimals my look like this:

1) 0.25

2) 0.333333333...

3) 0.234234234234234234...

The following above are rational because they either: terminate or repeat. That being said, 1) terminates, and 2) and 3) repeat because the pattern of 2) is just 3's, and the pattern of 3) is 0.234 over and over again.

Irrational:

- Irrational numbers are numbers that don't repeat, and don't terminate. The next examples are irrational:

1) 0.234536718092343...

2) 8.123456789023452574794832468...

3) 1723456.4356784794954233690422...

- They go on forever and ever, and don't have a pattern/terminate like rational numbers.

Now that you've got that in the bag, its time for your answers!

Step-by-step explanation:

A) rational --> It has a pattern, but does not terminate

B) rational --> It terminates

C) irrational --> it does not have a pattern, even if it does terminate

D) rational --> when you solve it, the answer is 2, and 2 is rational

E) irrational --> it does not have a pattern, but does terminate

I hope I helped you! This took forever, but it was worth it! :D

Answer:

1 tens 3 ones

Step-by-step explanation:

All you do is count the numbers in the place value chart.

Since 31-18=13, all you do is count 10+1+1+1=13.

Triangle has sides that measure 33 cm, 65 cm, and 56 cm. Is it a right triangle? Explain
Orlov [11]
Yes, by Pythagoras: Larguest side² = other side² + other side² (65²=33²+56²).

What Is 4x+6y=48 and what is the general form and x intercept and y intercept and slope and factored form?
Vladimir [108]

Given equation : 4x+6y=48 .

The general form of the linear equation is ax +by =c.

The given equation is already in general form.

Let us find x-intercept.

Plugging y =0 in given equation.

4x+6(0)=48 .

4x +0 = 48

4x = 48

Dividing both sides by 4, we get

4x/4 = 48/4

x = 12.

Therefore, x-intercept is (12,0).

Let us find y-intercept.

Plugging x =0 in given equation.

4(0)+6y=48 .

6y = 48

Dividing both sides by 6, we get

6y/6 = 48/6

y = 8.

Therefore, y-intercept is (0,8).

Let us convert given equation in slope-intercept form y=mx+b.

4x+6y=48

Subtracting 4x from both sides, we get

4x-4x+6y=48-4x

6y = -4x+48

Dividing both sides by 6, we get

6y/6 = -4x/6+48/6

y = -2/3 x +8.

Therefore, slope is -2/3.

Let us find factored form now.

GCF of the given linear equation is 2.

Factoring out 2 in all term, we get

3(2x+3y=24)

That is factored form.
