Answer:

Option: It promoted the growth of plants, and thus early settlers began moving inward to warmer places in search for better land for cultivation.

Explanation:

The meltdown in Ice Age changed the climate around the world. The melting of glaciers allowed early humans to move out across the world to migrate and it also brings change in the lifestyle of prehistoric nomadic groups. They transformed themselves from hunting- gathers to farmers who settle in small groups and grew plants.

Thomas Paine suggested in Common Sense that Britain could not rule the American colonies well because?
Leona [35]

Answer:

(B) America was too large and too far away.

Explanation:

Thomas Paine argued in “Common Sense” in favor of American Independence. The pain had many arguments to defend American independence, first he said that it was absurd for an island to rule a continent, he envisioned that the US would grow and defended that independence should be sought during the moment that the colonies were small.

He also argued that Britain was very distant from America and this made the governing of the colonies very hard. Any petition to the Parliament would take a year to the colonies receive a response, this made governing impossible.

Unit 6 imperialism from 1750 to 1900 graphic organizer in
lapo4ka [179]

Answer:

What does the Europeans want from these countries? Raw Materials. Why? During that time Great Britain industrial revolution was going on. You need raw materials like Iron to create products to sell. Boost europeans economy, so they exploit other countries.

How? Most common strategy they use was Divide and Conquer. They divide the country up, make them fight each other. Then use that weakness to control both sides. Europeans believe they have a far superior govt. than other countries, so they will "parent" other countries. Another way is promising them technology, medicine and education. Once again these countries they are imperializing are far from advanced than Great Britain.
